More Torino Accommodations Options

Again, I don't know these two people at all, but they have homes available for rent during the Torino Winter Olympics so I thought I would pass along their information for those still looking:

Azia Sartirana (e-mail: aziasar@yahoo.it) It's a very beautiful apartment in Sauxe d'Oulx with eight beds. The price is 300 euros a day and 4000 euros for all of the Olympics.

Emanuele Salusso (e-mail: esaluss@yahoo.it) Has a luxury one-bedroom apartment, completley furnished, with a big hall and kitchen. It is located 150 meters from Turin's Piazza Gran Madre, just across the Po River, and about a 10-minute walk from Piazza Castello. Asking 300 euros per night or 3500 euros for the duration of the Games.

Torino Ticket Sales Gathering Steam

Winter Olympics organizers report they have sold 690,000 event tickets, out of a total of 1 million, according to Reuters. Italians began buying more tickets in January - some 100,000 - for a total of 300,000 tickets. They will make up the largest delegation of spectators followed by Americans and Germans.
